What this site keeps about you
guiljam.nl is a personal, non-commercial site with concert videos. There are no accounts, no forms and no ads. Below is exactly what does happen when you visit.
Google Analytics, only with your consent
On your first visit a bar at the bottom asks whether Google Analytics may be used. If you choose Accept, the site loads Google Analytics and Google sets cookies (such as _ga) to see which pages are viewed. If you choose Decline, or make no choice, nothing from Google is loaded.
Your choice is kept in your browser for a year and can be changed at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer. Google may process this data on servers outside the European Union, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Google's privacy policy.
Videos and music from YouTube and Spotify
A clip, a setlist song or an album plays in a window on the page itself. That window is only loaded when you click it. From then on your browser connects to YouTube (in the privacy-enhanced mode, without cookies until you play) or to Spotify, which may set its own cookies and sees your IP address. Images
Photos, thumbnails and covers are served from this site's own server. The site fetches them once from YouTube or Spotify and keeps a copy; your browser does not talk to those services for them.
Storage in your own browser
The site remembers your language (in a cookie, for a year) and your cookie choice. This data does not go to the server and cannot be traced to you.
Server log
Like every website, the hosting provider keeps a technical log with IP address, time, requested page and browser, to detect outages and abuse. It is deleted automatically after a limited period.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data. Because this site keeps almost nothing that can be traced to you, there is little to access or delete in practice. You withdraw your consent for Google Analytics with Cookie settings in the footer. If you cannot resolve an issue, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
